The Orion Project Update – January, 2011

January 25, 2011

The Orion Project has spent over two and a half years dedicated to the search for new energy technologies that will help us move past the need for fossil fuels in powering our world.

During this time, we have also spent many hours educating the public, politicians, business people, and world leaders on the types of systems that could supplant fossil fuels and reasons these systems are not available at this time.

For example, recently we convened a meeting in Washington DC at which a former Minister of Defense of a G-7 country and family of one of the world’s leading industrialists attended. A top-secret scientist who has worked on these very high voltage new energy systems, along with Dr. Greer, presented their findings to these leaders.

It is through education and networking like this that we hope to bring together the resources to create a world-class research and development facility where these new energy technologies can be developed and made available to the public.

Dr. Greer and Dr. Loder have often addressed these issues in public lectures, on the radio, and on the World Puja Network and will continue to do so.

Dr. Greer and Dr. Loder will be discussing this Orion Project Update on the World Puja Network program Conversations with Dr. Steven Greer on Friday, January 28, 2011. People can listen free for the first 24 hours after the interview is posted.

Our Breakthrough Campaign was launched in 2008 with the goal of funding a research and development facility where qualified scientists, physicists, and engineers could work together to produce a prototype device that would put out more energy than it took to run the device. Since we did not raise the funds to build a central facility, we initially funded individuals at their own locations.

We learned that most individuals working independently without suitable support facilities found the task was too daunting, both from an engineering and a strategic point of view. However, some granted individuals continue to work on their own toward the production of a working prototype. We found that this was a learning experience for all concerned.

However, as the result of these experiences, we are no longer funding the early research and development of new energy technologies until we have our own secure research facility. The Orion Project will continue to investigate technologies that are already built AND ready for evaluation. We have an excellent team of volunteer scientists and engineers to do this initial evaluation and testing.

At this point it has become clear that we must bring the talented scientists who wish to work with us together at one facility dedicated to this purpose. We have always felt that the most effective way to produce the true energy production breakthrough humanity requires is to have the best minds pool their knowledge and skills in a cooperative and synergistic setting. We feel this will shorten the success timeline to one to two years versus many years for those working in isolation, unprotected.

At present, we have a growing number of eager, brilliant scientists and engineers ready to join us when we can raise the funds for a research facility. Hence, we are rededicated to raising the funds to make that a reality.

As an aside, many supporters have asked us about the Stanley Meyer water-to-fuel technologies. For over a year we were in contact with the family who owned the Meyer technologies and negotiated with them to purchase the materials. We worked very hard on this; however, in the end they withdrew their offer to sell to us and sold to another group.

It should be noted that we have consulted with a number of people who worked directly with Stanley Meyer and feel that, once we have a properly staffed and equipped research and development facility, we will be able to reproduce this technology to bring out to the world.

We, at The Orion Project, wish to thank all of you for supporting our work. We will continue to do everything we can to move this planet towards true sustainability and abundance for all.
